What the mile cost, week by week

Each week the US diesel price moves, and the cost of a mile moves with it. This is that number for a reference operation, one Class 8 truck running 120,000 miles a year at 6.5 mpg, rebuilt from the EIA price and the same cost model the calculator uses. No estimate is invented: every figure is a calculation over the week’s real fuel price.
